I have pleasure inviting you to support the Dallaglio Cycle Slam party on Friday 26 February 2010 raising money via Sport Relief for the charity DebRA: to help find a cure for Epidermoylsis bullosa, a horrific often terminal, blistering skin disease in children.
A staggering 1 in 225 people carry the defective gene in the UK!
On Friday 12 February 2010, 6 inspiring and brave cyclists set off from Rome to cycle 3000 kms to Edinburgh to raise money. Cycling on average 130 kms a day including 6000 ft climbs (!), through the snowy Alps to France, the riders arrive in the UK on Friday 26 February, halfway through the challenge.
Therefore, the party at award-winning Idlewild, will provide a great opportunity to give some cheering, motivation and final donations to help Greg and the guys to keep going to the finish on 13 March 2010 in Edinburgh, after nearly 30 days in the saddle!
Enjoy drinks with friends, meet new people and have the opportunity to meet All Blacks rugby legend, Zinzan Brooke
who is also cycling in the Slam. Other celebrities tbc.

Greg has met President Obama twice, once by personal invitation to the White House. As a result, of these & other meetings with Vice-President Joe Biden, other Governors / Senators, a letter has been sent from the Senate directly to the President requesting budget funds of $50 million to be set aside for EB!
